Serenity Is Finaly Here

I actually hadn't herd of Serenity until just today... But I've gotta say. This move looks the shit. As a result I am putting it on my must see list alongside Episode III. Another movie I've been looking into is The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy. After that I can't think of too many other movies I'm REALY looking forward to...

And now a bit of good news for all you Linux lovers out there. New information on the 2.6.12 kernel has been released to the public. Huzzah. Personally I don't use Linux because I'm not in the programming/hacking business these days. But I just felt that a few readers may find it interesting.

I've recently been asked to explain who one David Firth is as I've brought him up in conversation. I always answerer simply and easily. "He's one fucked up bastard". I say this because I've watched his animations and no one can think of things that twisted without having a screw or two loose. I will warn you now. Most of those video's are NOT work safe. And I don't mean this in the sense of nudity, but in the sense that you will probably not wanting too many people knowing you watch these things. For those with a weak stomach, I will suggest whole heartedly that you stay the fuck away from The Milkman and Valentines Day Special...

Finally I leave you all with this pointless little time waster. What kind of homicidal maniac are you or one of your friends? I don't particularly care. But if you do, then this should lay those restless thoughts to sleep.

When All Else Fails, Lie

I've found this tactic quite useful in recent days. Some people I know have been trying to send me potential scripts for the comic... I put on a pretty face and accept the files with promises that I shall look them over. Of course, after so many from people I barely know, I tend to simple delete these. I know who the characters are. So do Yoshi and Napz. You do not. So stop with the sending.

On the flip side of the coin I'm quite open to suggestions on how to improve a comic I have made as I do want public opinion. It's the life-blood of the comic anyway. Well... Actually, no it's not. And that's really the whole point. I'm just an insecure writer.

Other than that, I need to set some kind of outing up with Yoshi sometime in the near future... Perhaps getting him to come over to discuss the comic, and help us move furniture onto trucks in the process. Hell, I got Syphon to do it once. And besides, it would be both productive and beneficial to him in both senses of the words in that he will also be getting me to Wynnum North sooner.

Short post I know. But I've not much to say that won't leak out too much comic info... *Sigh* Oh well. This is Mav saying "When you walk down that theme park's road... Kick a costumed idiot in the nads fer me."

In The Shadows

Firstly I must apologise for my most recent post... I may have been a bit too quick to accept a gaming channel and as such I didn't really research the thing properly. But you live and learn I guess.

In other news, this will rape your grandmother and ask for seconds. I absolutely love that vid. I actually had not thought of an MGS AMV until I saw that. But I must agree, it makes a very good candidate. I'm currently gathering them so that I may create my own to a tune I will not reveal. Call it a secret project if you will.

We will know for sure whether we are moving to this new place or not by Tuesday. We were SUPOSED to know by tonight but apparently that aint happening now. This dose not bode well folks... I smell impending doom upon the horizon. I swear I'm gonna scream so loud they'll here me in Scandinavia if we don't get it...

The comic hasn't progressed any on this end lately. I'm having a frustrating convo with Napz even as I post this. He's just being annoying for the sake of it I know... But still. It makes a 10 minute info exchange take an hour or so...

All else I can really say right now is that I was banned off the comp all day for a stupid reason I won't go into here. So that'll explain where I've been all day. In any case, remember the advice of someone I can't remember. Always keep a flag by your door for those days when the Jehovah's witnesses are out in droves.

We Demand G4

I'm gonna jump straight into the point here. Fellow Australian gamers! The time is now for us to band together and let our bitching cry out and be herd in droves at once! We want's G4 on Australian Cable TV! Go forth and contact the cable company's and demand that we receive it! And that out bitching will not cease until we are appeased. Austar, Foxtell, Optus. All must convert to out visions. As must any other providers within Australia that I am unaware of. As gamers, we demand our gamers channel!

Hopefully that has inspired the masses to go forth. But more than likely not... I'm still unsure how far the reach of my Blog extends as of yet. But never fear, I am taking up other methods of spreading mass rioting and the like to come crashing down on Cable TV's ass. I for one will be calling, mailing and emailing Austar till I am blue in the face, out of ink and out of Internet.

Movin On West

All seems confirmed people. I'm headed west. And to all you non believers who said it would never happen, I am going back to Wynnum North! Put that in your pipe and choke on it. This means a 4 am wake up and an hour 40 minutes train trip. But guess what? I don't care! Cus I'll be back among the people! *Dose prenuptial agreement dance*

The day itself wasn't so bad. School was eventful for once which explains the lack of bitching. Things went down-hill afterwards... But we went out for dinner so things evened out. However I'm on my old 56k ATM due to our ADSL bill having not been paid. But we are changing providers to TPG so it's all good.

To those who I RP with, I apologise for my diminished posting recently, but IPT assignment called for a 68 page documentation that needed doing -_- Well actually 200 was preferred, but we just couldn't push past the 68 mark. Oh well. In any case, I'll be trying to RP more often if school doesn't rape my free time like that again.

In comic news, I've started working on those ark's, and I must say, they are coming out rather nicely. I've gotten a few compliments, and even caused a chuckle from Yoshi on the first draft. An accomplishment in itself. Am currently writing a set where they go to Japan. It has to end in deportation... If you guys have some funny ideas about what jokes could be used I'd appreciate. I'm intending to make this a long ark.

Anyway. I have something else I want to post but I'm not going to wait for the images to upload on this connection so you'll all just have to wait till later for that. I'll try to give it it's own post if nothing interesting happens otherwise. Till then, this is Mav saying, Stay in school! It's just so much more inconvenient for the teachers.

Dance With The Devil In The Pale Moonlight

No seriously that title has little if anything to do with the post. It just sounds cool. Today was like any other day at my current school. Shit house. Spent half the fucking day with a migraine and come 4th period I get people telling me "Oh you failed that IPT assignment cus you weren't here and your partner didn't write the documentation". Greeeeeeeeeat... Well I might be able to salvage some marks... I did actually program the damn game... Who cares if you can't win? Just a minor glitch... Not like I expected to do well anyway. Oh well. I'll hand it in so I can at least pass the subject. As far as I can tell, the house inspection went well seeing as how mother dearest wasn't tearing her hair out when I got home.

For some reason I've been listening to allot more heavy music lately... Sum 41, Slipknot & Tool... Those kinda things. Odd... Oh well. I shan't dwell on pointless shit for any longer than I have to. I think to much as it is.

Some stuff flying about on the comic. Seems ground rules were set while I wasn't looking. These include but are not limited to, No female lead characters & no solid work until we have a web site made. That last one isn't really all that logical to me... If it's all finished at the same time isn't that a fuckload more convenient? Oh well. I'm just gonna float along the current for a while and see what happens. No point cracking a whip I don't own so to speak.

Oh and something I had to guess would happen did. It's been about a day since I made this blog... Shock horror. Jis is gonna set one up to put down updates on his flash series. As noble as his intentions might be... I can't help but feel he keeps deciding to do things because I'm doing them or because Yoshi is doing them. A similar thing happened when we started work on a web site and a web comic. He made one of each as well. I dunno. Maybe it's just me but I could swear he's suffering from the neighbour syndrome.

Anyway... That's all I can be bothered with and all I've been authorised to say. Peace out and... I dunno... Whack a mole or something...

From The Depths Of School

It's BCT and I'm bored sensless. I have nothing to do seeing as the work provided is just buisy work. Let me make something clear right now... I hate buisy work... And as such I refuse to do it. So I've been whittling away the time chatting with people seated behind me and such. The morning hasn't gone well so far. The house inspector got there before I left which was an encounter I was hoping to avoid as best I could. But as always it was up to me to do the meet and greet. I'm getting so sick of doing that kind of shit. Always answering the phone and saying the persons name aloud back to them so I can find out if mother is home. I'm not a fucking answering machine.

As usual I was late to school, so theres another unexplained absence for my record. If theres a spot in Guinus for the most days absent for an actual attending student who isn't wagging, then I'll be god damn trying for it. At least some good will then come from my mothers horrid sence of time. And I'm quite serious about her sence of time. Everyone in our family adds on about an hour to make leway for her to get to family get togethers. We tryed telling her the time she had to be there was about an hour b4 it was, but she outsmarted us and turned up then. So muh for that idea.

Well that's all the shit I can be arsed to say for now. Check back later tonight, I'll probably have updated again by then.

The Generic-ness Begins

Lookie lookie, Mav has a blog. How origional *rolls eyes*. But I don't exactly give a fuck, and there is the beauty of it all. What can you expect to see here? Well for one I'm going to throw in the occational rant about how goes the comic myself and the team are throwing together peice by peice. Other than that, just some random shit about what I've been up to. Maby if I get a camera worth a buck I'll even add in the occational picture. And just so I can stop you all before you start bitching, yes I will put a picture of myself up instead of my avitar, but for now, deal with it.

Now that the pleasantry's are out of the way (If you could realy call any of that pleasent) I'll get down to business. If I spell something wrong, then that's my problem. Don't go pointing it out in a comment because you can go get fucked for all I care about the subject. Next, if you have a problem about me swearing, then don't start posting comments or sending me hate mail about it. If you'll kindly look up you'll notice that the blog is titled "Maverik Uncensored". So expect some cursing because personaly I need somewhere I can let loose. And you've just found it.

Now for some ACTUAL BLOGING!

Today was shit. No other way to describe it. We have some house inspection coming up and had to clean stuff. I don't realy see why. I mean, we are intending to move soon anyway. And if our landloards give us a good recomendation I'll be damn surprised as they seem to hate us these days. Probably because we actualy know they can't syphon money from us. I did try to warn dear mother not to move here. I was growing quite fond of that place. Had a seperate building for me and everything. But no. This place would be better. Yea. When was the last time you were right about that ma? *Sigh* But that's that. Were moving again soon. Aparently northside. Alota fucking good it's gonna do me... Everyone and everything I know is down here on the south side. Oh well. That's parents for you.

As far as the comic gose, for those of you who don't know (Which I'll assume is anyone who dosn't yet know me personaly) it's a joint project between myself and my 2 friends, Yoshi and Napz. I script, Napz draws & Yoshi co writes, co draws and is our web master. We did up a chart of all the stages and worked out that he is actualy involved to some degree in every stage of developmeny. Oh well. More work for him.

In any case, Yoshi's been doing some reasearch on the subject of web comics and has decided that what you people want are comics with continuing plots as opposed to stand alone issues ala Garfeild or some other sunday funny pages strip. I supose I should also refference to Penny Arcade in that respect... Seeing as how they are a web comic. (Yay, I just made a shameless plug to a well known website so I'll show up in google searches, aren't I clever *Rolls Eyes*) So now I'm going to have to change tactics and start writing in story arks rather than stand alone issues. But I'm fine with that. I'm better at those anyway. Well. That's all I can be arsed to say for now. Peace out and all that good shit.
