Advent Children Was Awsome

Ok… It’s been quite some time… But I’m going to TRY and get this stuff done. So what to post? Well I suppose a primary thing would be Advent Children. This movie is brilliant. So brilliant that I’m able to sell it to die hard Final Fantasy fans. So I’m able to both spread the love and cash in. It’s win win! I’ll throw up a quick review for convenience of simply linking back here when asked for one.

The movie, as most of you already know revolves around the exploits of Cloud and co set some 2 years after the fall of meteor. And when I sat ‘and co’ I mean the whole gang shows up at one point or another. Just some get more screen time than others.

The fight scenes are really what carry the movie to greatness. Don’t get me wrong. The comedy and storyline are well written. But it is the chance to witness your favorite characters finally fighting it out in full rendered CG action. And WHAT action! Let’s just say that the laws of physics have very little influence on our characters movements. And it never looked sweeter.

The whole movie looks fantastic and is a really pleasant watch. Just be careful of who you watch it with, as arguments of Final Fantasy past have been known to crop up mid movie, and completely ruin the experience. THANK GOD I watched it with Yoshi the first time.

Another thing I suppose was an interesting happening was my discovery of the legendary Camel Spider. Look it up because I’m not linking. Let’s just say that when you peel yourself off the ceiling looking for one, you should research it a bit more closely.
