Class Clown

Before I get started, on request of sister dearest, I shall elaborate upon the Misty thing. She has a lazy eye, and some other condition that make one of them (not sure which) near blind. So when she looks at people, she seems like she's looking over your shoulder. As I said, it's weird at first... But once you get to know her, it doesn't bother you anymore.

So onto today's story.

Year 12 was called down to the hall for a special guest parade sorta thing. This guy was some doctor or something... I wasn't really paying explicit attention as I detest sitting on the ground. But anyway, he was yakking on about drugs and what not, seeing as we would be partying hard now that "School's out for Summer. School's out forever". And one thing he started talking about was peoples ability to look at a situation and say "That's a bad choice. I won't do that." His example was this.

He sectioned year 12 into 4 groups. "We will take some buses down to Wynnum Plaza, and each group will take a floor, and we will streak through them!" Now, he is standing there, 65 or so, expecting everyone to say "No way dude!" But what do you think happened?

Woodie. Class clown extrodenare, rips his shirt from his body and screams as he runs out of the hall. You should have SEEN that guy's face! Best assembly I've ever attended.

Only other newish news is that the web comic should soon have a website as we have decided to bite the billet, and just let Max make the site for now. When we're done, the comic will be drawn and put online.

+1 Weekend

That's right boys and drags (I sincerely doubt girls read this). I spent yet another weekend on the road. And amazingly, both Saturday AND Sunday started early for me. Seeing as my weekdays start at 4:30 (A mere 3 hours from now) I don't normally do that. But let it be known that I am NOT a sloth when I need to be!

Saturday was Doom the movie. Now let me warn anyone who's hopes that this will be another Resident Evil transgression are high... It's not. This is just an hour and a half of leave your brain at the door action and suspense. Hell, half the movie isn't even ON Mars.

So with that out of the way, good ol Nigel decided that a purchase of Doom 3 was in order. $30 later, we were on our way back to his humble abode.

Now, I don't claim to be good at FPS. But I don't think the fact that my computer was stuffing up at the lowest graphics settings was helping my game a whole lot... But we did come to the revelation that WoW is not the only game in existence. A nice breath of fresh air indeed.

With Saturday out of the way, onto Sunday. Sunday was a makeshift party at Jonno's place. 6 people don't really constitute a party so I'll say 'get together'. But never the less it WAS fun. We had a little tag team Mario Party 5. Jonno and I were the victors. However, everyone seemed to agree that he took the victory a little too seriously. Oh well. Them's the breaks.

Invader Zim and Pizza, followed with a capping of Smash Brothers. All in all, the day was quite good. I even solved the mystery of why Misty never seems to look me in the eye when she talks to me. Which I'll admit was kina weird at first. But it's cool.

In any case, blabidy blah blah, I'll try to post more... Schools almost over and out so I should have more time up my sleves, so expect more from the Mavmister.
