I don't even know where to start... Or perhaps I do... Absinthe... That about sum's this post up. A total mother-fucker. Mother. Fucker.
The aftermath of the table
The Alcohol (Or part thereof)
Absinthe's effects on Syphon (With water & sugar)
Absinthe's effects on Yoshi (Straight)
Absinthe's effects on me (Straight. And yes, that's me)
Absinthe's effects on Jade (Straight)
Yoshi tries to restrain Jade as he attempts to attack me for taking photo's.
Yoshi is the clear winner. Jade's fly is open.
This was far from the intention of the photo. But the awkwardness had to be saved and recorded.

So Naps just sent me the first draft sketches of the 3rd panel in a comic we created a few weeks back (Don't worry... Things will begin speeding up once he gets a hold of a tablet) . And I have to say... My organ's are practically rupturing as I force myself not to post it (Lest the joke be ruined). Let's just say that I am VERY impressed with the way it's come out, and I can wait to see what he manages to string together when it's finally completed...
Other than that, my jot TRULY starts on Monday, as I'll be out on the floor of the call center, taking the orders and entering them into the program. So that will be an interesting day for sure... Now I just need a passport so the goram bank can let me access my bloody account!

So Naps broke up with his girlfriend. Or rather, she broke up with him (again) as I'm lead to believe. I was worried his self esteem might have been damaged... But he seems to be dealing with it. As Yoshi says, he's developed a thick skin to the matter. There's even romour of birthday related manipulation as the same thing happened last year around the same time... A few weeks after her birthday... Hmmmm...
In other news, I'm employed again. $1142 AUD for a week of sitting around and scratching my arse isn't bad. It will of course get a little trickier when work actually starts... But I'll live. As they say, money is money. I'll be buying an Xbox 360 soon, so keep your eyes peeled for a Live Account name.

So it looks like Napz started a DeviantART account... I now have unlimited access to his sketches, of which I shall share a choice few. The first one is what we might call his attempt to make a comic on his own volition. Origionaly 2 images, the panels make it an easyer joke to convey. It's pretty cool, but we all know where that lovely text comes from don't we? (Yes a good portion of the jokes are Yoshi's, fuck off)
Although he IS quite partial to his girlfriend...
Very partial...
The only known natural enemy of Mav...
We see this kinda thing a lot
When asked, he had no appropriate reason for this one...
It's this kinda shit that keeps him awake at night

Just a short post here. No filter threw up some video footage of a live gig they pulled at a joint called The Zoo. Since I couldn't give you guys any photos or video of the one I attended at The Living Room, I figured I'd make it up to you all with this...

Hail to those of Level 5 and their crack team of designers. For once in it's unbelievably overpriced existence, the PS3 has finally breached that wall that said "If you buy a PS3, your friends will disown you". From the brilliant minds that brought us Dark Cloud and Dragon Quest VIII, comes the first PS3 game to literally make my jaw drop.
White Knight Story, is the sexiest, and most seemingly gratifying game I have seen in a long time. I would say that I haven't been this excited about a game since Chrono Trigger... But truth be known... That trophy belongs firmly in the grasp of Blue Dragon... But we shall get to that in a moment...
Much thanks to Gametrailers.com, we have ourselves some HD quality footage to drool over. It's available in Windows Media Player, or Quicktime.
In the words of Tycho Brahe, "That's how you sell us a Goddamn Playstation 3."
Now, concerning my reasoning for eating up everything that is Blue Dragon... I had become somewhat excited about the game after hearing about Hironobu Sakaguchi's involvement, and jumped the gun on my last post without researching all the details. A rookie mistake yes... BUT, I am here now to rectify this error in judgment!
You see, not only is the game being directed by Hironobu Sakaguchi... But it's character designs, (as some of you more perceptive readers may have already noticed) are being done by Akira Toriyama, the original Dragon Ball artist, as well as doing the character designs for the legendary Chrono Trigger!
And that's not all folks!
Rounding off this lovely trio of game creating geniuses, is none other that the musical styling's of Nobuo Uematsu! Now if you don't already know the man, then shame on you and all your kin! This man is the legend behind the music of most of the Final Fantasy games, and with no immediate surprise... Chrono Trigger!
Honestly, this game has me so psyched, that I'm surprised that anything else is showing on my radar at the moment. Because if these 3 cannot pull off a great RPG, then I don't know who can.

That's right folks. Mav here to give you all his own take on the events of the TGS so far. Now of course, I don't speak Japanese, so I can only go by what I'm reading about the net, but I'll try to get down my highlights, and hopefully, We'll get a few nice videos to embed.
First off the bat, we have the ever loved, Metal Gear Solid franchise. That's right kiddies, we got us a whole new eyeful of Snake goodness to chow down on... Needless to say, I was somewhat excited by this news. It seems that no gaming expo is complete without a new thrilling instillation to our MGS4 library, cropping up in the form of a 6 minute video demonstration of some of the new gameplay elements for Snake's new mission. No vague hints towards a confusing plot this time. No... It's all about our elderly friend evading the various enemy's upon the battlefield, and occasionally blowing a few of them away. It also provides us with a few somber themes to think on as we watch the trailer.
"No beginning, no end. No time, no future. No virtue, no vice. No place for heroes. No time for heroes. No place in time. No time to die. No war for Snake."
I won't say much further on the subject, but rather, just give you all the chance to check it out for yourselves. I will say however, that you can expect an interesting little Kojima style twist at the end of the clip.
Interesting indeed... Unfortunately, it appears that the game shall not be shipping until sometime next year. So anyone who was hoping for a launch title declaration will be sadly denied.
Another point of interest at the TGS, was a playable demo of the 4th game in the Devil May Cry series. Of which, the first notable thing about the game was it's overwhelming similarities to DMC3. Next to that, was the fact that the controllable character, as has been hinted, was not Dante, but rather a new character by the name of Nero. However, the similarities between the looks and control's for the two characters are so near identical, you should hardly notice.
Nero's arsenal stays within DMC's usual facet of the explosive mixture of guns and swords, but this time round, there are small differences. For one, Nero only sports the one hand gun. I'm not sure how this will effect gameplay (not having actually had the pleasure to play the demo myself), but hopefully it won't diminish our ability to hover and generally kick ass. The other notable difference, is that Nero is sporting a gauntlet type thing on his arm called the Demon Fist, used with the circle button. This addition appears to make Nero's melee ability's mirror those of Dante with both his sword and the Beowulf weapon.
The demo showed no use of any Devil Trigger, extra weapons or style switching. But this may well be due to the seeming early stage of the game that the demo was set in. This leaves us to wonder just whether or not the game will incorporate these systems later, or something new entirely.
The graphics are certainly better than the last game. But certainly nothing spectacular. In short, the game looks to cater to it's already existing fan base. But suffice it to say... So far, there seems little that will draw any new comers, or convert anyone who disliked previous installments... In the mean time, here's a short teaser clip for the fan boy's to salvitate over. (Not from TGS)
The next thing on my list is something I really hope will live up to it's brand name. The innocently Blue Dragon. Now, you may be asking about now... "Mav... What's so special about a random Japanese game called Blue Dragon?". Well, allow me to drop a 2 bit's of info that are keeping my interest in the game. Firstly, it is a new Japanese RPG from a new franchise, which is something I was afraid we would not see again in my lifetime. Secondly, and probably far more importantly... It is being created by one Hironobu Sakaguchi. Mastermind behind both the Final Fantasy series, AND the damn near perfect, Chrono Trigger.
With these things in mind, Blue Dragon has the potential to be brilliant. Unfortunately, we all know that potential is not everything it's cracked up to be. But from what I've seen of the childish looking 360 game, I have to admit, it's looking hopeful.
I haven't got a whole lot to say about this game, but I do have a few videos for you to enjoy.
There's plenty more to see from the show, but I think this is as good a place as any to end my own coverage of it. If you poke around GameSpot, you should be able to find the rest. But for now, this is me, signing off to go fight an intergalactic war for the human race, right under your noses.

Hey there everyone. Been a while hasn't it? But that's the breaks I'm afraid... Not that it really matters in the long term. Anyway, a few things to touch on...
The Tokyo Game Show has started today, and will continue on unabated until late Sunday the 24th. So while E3 may have abandoned us, we still have our TGS. I'll see what I can do about talking on a few choice things shown if I get the time, but I'm sure you'll all see whatever strikes your fancy by the time I get to it.
The Wii is looking to stir some interest, as not only is it very soon to be available, but according to the New York Times, and widely believed by the internet community, it's actually going to be released in the US first on 19th November, a whole 2 weeks before the confirmed Japanese release date of 2nd December (Australians will of course be the second last off the starting line on the 7th, followed by Europe on the 8th). Also stirring some interest is that it will cost far less than the PS3, and come fully loaded with a free game, Wii Sports, and will be accompanied by no less than 25 next gen games at launch. I know I'll be reserving one.
And some more news for the Nintendo fan's. A new Pokémon game has been announced for the Wii as a release game in Japan. Tentatively titled as Pokémon Battle Revolution, it looks to be more bad ass than ever. As an extra special treat, some footage!
Yes. I am a Pokémon fan. Deal with it.
As a final note of interest. This has been circling the net. You may have heard it. You may not have. If you find out just who this 'Ray' is, let me know, because I quite like his lyrical ideas.
Also, on a more personal note, my Job Interview went fine for anyone who might have been wondering. I should hear back sometime next week.

Hello dear readers. Tonight I'm gonna start things off by telling you where you need to go on the internet. Or, in a more truthful manner of speaking, I'm gonna give ya'll a few links to go play with.
Firstly, at the request of my friend 'The Developer', I present to you, an interesting RPB that I have discovered in the last month or so. This particular RPB is called Arcane Academy. It is centered around a floating island, hidden from the rest of the world. There, players gather in and around a (as you've probably guessed) magical school, where just about anything can happen. From fighting dragons to fighting over who gets to use the bathroom first, your magical alter-ego is free to explore.
Secondly, I would like to give recognition to Ze Frank for his wonderful webcast, The Show. A video blog that can cover anything from the latest news, to his interpretation of signs he sees on his travels. He's often times a funny man, but even when he isn't making jokes, you'll learn to love the guy as he uses his vast knowledge to dish out a piece of himself one day at a time.
In other news, someone has made a case study against the ESRB's rating system, saying that they are inaccurate because they fail to take into account the amount of violence presented to the player within the game. This study is totally ludicrous, and yet the judge took the whole thing on as factual evidence, simply because the statistics were, in a sense, true. It just goes to show that we have to stop listening when people totting the last name Thompson take the podium in relation to games.
I'll cover more news at a later time. But right now, I've got people to do and things to see.

Apparently so. Or so says this comedic image I had forwarded to me just yesterday.
Now... I'm not one to be fooled easily. But when has a fw: email ever steered me wrong?
In other news, I discovered a nifty little vid over at YouTube. Final Fantasy VII: Last Order. The circle is now complete.
In all actuality, I don't really have much of interest to say beyond those few little bits of fun. If you really feel like it, you can go and view my AMV's on YouTube now, negating the need to sign up to AMV.org to see them (though you will still have to do so to see my less favorite three).

Alright all you blog fans. Here's the lowdown on my house, and a few of the people within it.
This is the smaller lounge room that belongs to myself, Yoshi and my little brother Zac. Seen depicted in the image is Yoshi in his trademark green shirt and jeans, playing Zac's Xbox and wondering why the hell I'm taking a photo of him.
This is the main lounge room with stupidly large TV. It's mostly only for the parent usage, but whenever they're not here we get plasma TV privileges. If you look carefully, you'll be able to see my dog Indy.
This is more or less my bedroom (bed is in the next photo). My TV and my game collection over to the right, and my desk that is used for anything but writing, reading or using a computer. Actually, we generally just put stuff on it to make it look interesting. Like Yoshi's plush toys and my lightsaber. We also have a killer movie collection but you can't see it behind the sliding cabinets where we keep the games.
Another little game for ya. See if you can spot the sea monkey tanks. We think we screwed them up cus they're not growing...
This is the bunk bed Yoshi and I share. I've got the futon on the bottom and he's got the mattress on top (you can tell by how mine is the made bed). It's actually in couch mode at this point, but the back falls flat when I go to bed.
And this is the very computer room I type this from. It's a total mess and that is MSN on the screen for those who are wondering. As a piece of trivia, the room won't look like that for long as my parents are getting all new furniture and a new computer (I'm inheriting this dying creature).
And while I was going to leave it at that, I figured, what the hell, I'll add some shots of people in there.
This is my little brother Zac... He is 8 years old, and he is seen here wielding a knife, maliciously murdering his birthday cake. I have no idea what the other kid's name is.
This is my ever lovely mother dearest, and my stepfather Reg. It's an older photo from an older house, but if I were to use the more recent photo of her eating cake and laughing, she would kill me stone dead where I stand.
And that's about it really. Yes I'm denying you of a photo of me, but I'd rather stay the mysterious figure who types this blog than show my face right now. Such is the way of the blogger.

Well, I survived the night, and am here to tell the tale. To tell the truth, I haven't really hung out in many clubs, but this experience was certainly interesting...
The night started off with some trouble finding the place, but Yoshi and I finally found it, and just in time to be first in line for at the door tickets. So alota other crap happened and we eventually descended into what looked to be one of the most posh places I've ever been to (worry not oh lovers of rock. It didn't stay like that for long). We found ourselves a perch, got some beer and listened to the DJ, periodically chatting to Cheeseman when he passed our table (Cheeseman being that friend of mine I mentioned. Lead guitarist). We were told that although the night started at 8, his band wasn't actually up till 11, so we had a bit of a wait in front of us.
The first band were pretty good. They rocked out just like any other and some people got to dancing down near the stage. But nothing very big happened with them. It seemed most people were content to stand around the bar.
I never did hear a whole lot from the second band, as I had developed a headache, so I drank some water and headed up top to get some fresh air. I got to run into some old friends from high school who were there to see No Filter like we were, and we got to chat a bit and whatnot.
And so finally 11pm rolled around, and the guys started to set their gear up. As soon as this happened, everyone piled up at the stage, and started cheering, even though they weren't actually playing yet. And when they finally DID get to playing... The whole place simply exploded. Everyone loved them.
Cheeseman even got a mass of attention as at the end of the first song, the boys crowded around him as he told them all something. The lead singer then approaching the podium and yelling "cheesy broke the mother-fucking strings!". This was followed by the chanting of "Cheeseman! Cheeseman!". A few songs later, his replacement guitar was starting to shit him, so he called out for his now restrung one, to which the band broke out into a song about the guitarist. Lines like "Cheeseman go and get your fucking guitar" managed to bring a smile to the faces of Yoshi and myself. They even managed to incorporate his name into the end of another song somewhere, giving a real vibe that he had become a force to be reckoned with.
Stay tuned because since it's taken me some 5 hours to type this up, I've taken photo's of my house to share with you all. But I'll post them separately.

Hey all you readers. Today as a special treat I'm announcing that a good friend of mine will be playing at a concert tonight at 8pm in a place called the 'Lounge Room' up in the city. It's the official release of the bands EP (which is a term for album, or so I'm told). The bands name is No Filter, and you can check em out on their myspace page and listen to a few of their songs.
Anyway. Anybody in or around the Brisbane metropolitan area should swing by and check em out fer a measly $10. You won't be disappointed I assure you.
If you can't make it, or are simply too far away, then never fear! I will be reporting back on the nights festivities, and hopefully I'll manage to snag some snaps of the band in action to throw up here (If camera's are allowed). Though you may have to wait a bit before you get them as rumors of an afterparty are circling, and I may be too smashed to type.
Anyhow. This is me signing off to go and get drunk, blast music, and with any luck, get laid.

Alrighty then boys and girls, here's the lowdown of the new skill I've just aquired... Since I've become a member of the ever loveable digg.com, I was bound to sooner or later start finding new stories that hadn't been posted yet. So, in order to add to the community, I've began to 'digg' these undug stories.
Now for those of you who don't know... Digg.com is much like Wikipedia, in that it is made for users by users! A news site where we chose what is news worthy. It's a brilliant concept that I have just utterly fallen in love with.
So. Using digg, I am able to make the news I discover, read by more people than if I were to just simply post it on my humble little blog here. And so lo I find a way to combine these two forces... Using digg.com, I can easily throw my diggs onto my blog here, and not only bring the story to the attention of more people, but it gives you guys the oppertunity to help me out, and in a way, help the digg community out, by going to the 'digg story' link at the bottom of this page, and clicking the 'digg' button under the number on the left hand side.
To actually access the story's link itself, click on the 'read more' link next to it. Happy reading, and happy digging!

My GOD! I haven't been so pissed off with a game since I snapped my SNES controller in half through sheer rage at one Sunset Riders game. SNK vs Capcom: SVC Chaos is not only a glichy game... It is so god damn cheap with the later characters in the Arcade mode, that even when you have given them 1/3 their original health, they STILL manage to arse rape you without even breaking a sweat! The final boss I had been contending against, I swear to god, could take 3/4 of your health in one combo. A combo he was quite fond of...
In a fit of rage, I finally snapped and hurled my controller at the ground hard enough to cause it to bounce back up and land on a shelf in the TV cabinet. I've no idea whether or not it still works, as it may very well be completely broken now. I was too pissed off to check. Suffice it to say, I never thought I could loath a game as much as I now hate that game...
Now... While I know the game is flawed... Don't take this as a review or anything... I'm still running off the adrenalin from the throw. I might get around to speaking on it if the occasion strikes me later... But for now I feel sick just looking at the accursed thing...
That's all I can think about right now... Arg...

I'm sure you may very well have already heard this little tidbit... But for those of you who are not in the know, I feel the need to... Express myself unto you in a manner that is not befitting of my usual carefree and attemptingly humorous manner... For those of you who do not wish to open their minds to a perception of my persona that has not manifest itself since the birth of this blog, then I beseech you to turn your gaze further down the post until you hit the Youtube videos... You have been warned.
------------------------------------------------------------
Now... For the love of all that is good and holy in this land of overpriced sticks of tobacco designed to kill you one puff at a time, who the hell decided that canceling E3 was a good idea?! So the various venues that are linked in some way to the event, including hotels and the like make in excess $50 million each E3... So all that money comes from the developers... So I never got to GO to the damn thing!
I understand that, as Penny Arcade stated, the loss of the already rather exclusive E3 is not a fatal blow to the industry, and in fact will likely mean more information more often... But FUCK! It blows my steam! E3 is just about the closest things gamers of the world can attribute to being an international games recognition week. Not quite a holiday... But a time period where all the good little nerds and geeks gather around their plasma flatscreen and wait for small gifts to fall into their laps like a pez dispenser with a timer and live streaming dates.
Did I mention I've still not been able to go?
While I'm sure we will all survive another Quanza without our palates being moistened by the expo, but what my point here is, is that I don't think we really want to. We like our E3, and we would kindly ask that you give it back. It's like saying Christmas is now and forever canceled, but don't worry, you'll get the same amount of gifts spread out through the year. Well bucko... We don't WANT that! I LIKE sitting down at Christmas and opening gifts one after the other. I LIKE anticipating the morning of the day. I LIKE the whole god damn experience thank you very much. And as I carry my metaphor beyond the legal limits, I must point out that I have the exact same feelings about E3.
E3 doesn't belong to the developers anymore. It belongs to the people. The kids with dreams of grandeur, who watch the videos and tell themselves "Someday I'll go to E3... Someday". I can't even hold it akin to telling your kids Santa isn't real. It's like telling them he was brutally murdered by Mrs clause who then promptly sodomized the Easter bunny and cooked it for dinner, and that neither holiday shall ever be celebrated ever again. Now tell me... Would tell your children that? No? Then DON'T FUCK with our E3 damn it!
------------------------------------------------------------
Now that that's off my chest. Let's all welcome back the more calm Maverik... That's it. Breath deep the fresh air my everything is excreting now that all that angst and rage is dealt with. And as I promised you... 2 Youtube links that pertain to an old event, but one that I still think is absolutely hilarious...
I give you...

Here you go. One Skunkman.
In other news, I found the camera, then lost it again... So we are still short on photos of the SeaMonkey tanks and other various things...
I've just had an interview for a 'day job' at Toyworld, so if I can get that, I'll have money again which is a good thing. Though it will make the contest exceedingly hard to pull off... But we SHALL prevail! I promise this thing will go ahead as planned.
Another short update I know... But it's better than no update.

Sea Monkeys are still too small. Haven't not slept yet. Yoshi is crying out "Fuck off Jesus, I am the son of god!" much in relation to a game of Dr. Mario.
Comic will be resurrected again as I swear to work on it now. Hopefully we will see some progress. In the mean time... I have some art for you all to admire/drool over.
Napz has also drawn the worlds most bitching picture of a skunk man, which he cannot find at the current time... If he ever does, I promise to throw that up here for even more admiration.
And that's all that ever happened in the world today.

I have just now FINALLY breached that always leering milestone of my playlist... I now have over 1000 songs! Celebrate oh people of the world! That's a total 1002 songs with an average track length of 3:56, and an estimated total length of the playlist landing in at a whopping 66 hours 27 minutes 13 seconds! For those of you playing the home game, that's over 2 days worth of music to listen to!
I contemplated posting the list here. But I when I realized just how freaking long it was, I sought an alternate method. And that's when I found Winamps handy little feature... Generating a full playlist! BEHOLD!
And that's all that I can think about right now.

Ok readers (all 2 of you), I'll bet you're wanting to know what's up with these little aquatic pets of ours... Or you don't. But either way, I'm gonna tell you. They have grown large enough to be easily spotable if you look closely, but still not big enough to REALLY be seen. A photograph for example, would be useless at this stage. However I will dig up the camera and get a lovely shot of the tanks when I have the time.
Yesterday Yoshi and I took a trip to the city, and Yoshi purchased a number of things that have interested me greatly. The first being an Xbox adaptation of Metal Slug 4 which left a lot to be desired... After doing my research, I see now that the correct choice would have been the copy of Metal Slug 3 that we were holding at the time. Oh well...
After procuring that and another Xbox controller, we then set off to the DVD store. What we purchased there was a wondrous movie called Versus! Take one part guns. One part swords. One part Yakuza. One part Zombies. And one part immortal beings... And what do you get? A 2 hour fight scene with a twisted sense of humor and a whole lotta gore. Everything I've ever wanted in an action movie *Sniff*
Finally, we managed to track down the full first season of Pokemon, which is a secret geeky pleasure of ours. And for all those of you who cannot find that fateful ringtone used in the first few episodes, fear not! I WILL transform it to a .wav format, and you WILL be able to download it from here. Huzzah!
And that's all that's happened to me of late.

So I've been playing around a lot with video editing stuff for the past few years. I've learned a few things, and I realize that there's about 500 billion things I'm totally clueless about... But you know what? I find it fun. It's cool to string a series of clips together and put a piece of music behind them. It's even cooler when you can then put those onto the internet and have people admire your work. Couple this with the fact that I get giddy every time I get a hold of a video camera, and my insatiable urge to film everything... And well... I think you all can see where I'm going with this.
I want to go into film. Now fear not... This doesn't mean I'm leaving writing behind. It will always be a passion for me, and I've every intention of publishing books and making the billions through paperback. But if I can transform my artistic visions into a visual medium... The possibility's become endless.
Allow me if you will... To tell of a project that Yoshi and I have come to agreement on. We will, sometime within the next few months, take it upon ourselves to try to outlast each other in a sleep deprivation contest. Furthermore, we will film the proceedings, and I shall cut, edit and past them onto YouTube for your viewing pleasure.
Preparations may take some time as we will have to obtain a camera, some money & a whole lotta willpower (Meaning gallon after gallon of caffeine). However, once we get into this... There's no turning back. This WILL include things such as TAFE and work if I happen to be employed by this time (Yeah... Right...)
On a final note... We're growing SEA MONKEYS! This in itself will be a contest, which has no arbitrary rules, end or anything else that would normally resemble a contest. It will simple come down to who's are more awesome. And that in itself shall be divined by the powers of the universe (You guys). Simply put, I will be photographing the 2 tanks, and keeping a progressive diary of the happenings of their growth. This contest may span quite some time as I want to try and incorporate at least 1 generation of the little guys.
By the end of it all, I will film some footage of our instant pets (although I don't see how taking some 10 days to become actually visible is instant) as Yoshi and I try to make them out perform each other. You guys will decide on the criteria on which to mark our efforts, and then, using a poll I will set up somewhere, you will vote on who's Sea Monkeys are more awesome.
And that's all that has happened to me in my prolonged absence. Stay tuned for updates on our newly created pets, the sleep deprivation challenge, and a photograph of the most bad ass tattoo I have seen in a long time.
Till then...

Alright, so last time I decided to bring some 'breaking news' to the table, I was popularizing a rather clever gag... But this time I swear it to be true. The Powderpuff girls who we've all come to know and love (or perhaps hate?) have been given a brand new redesign!
Interesting no? However this does not spell the demise of the original crew of unproportionately drawn kindigardians... This is actually more of a spin off... The Anime kind of spin off to be precise. And of course, mixed feelings are abound.
So here's what we know thus far... The new Japanamation will be titled "Demashita! Powderpuff Girls Z" which is roughly translated to "And They're Off! Powderpuff Girls Z". The girls are no longer sisters, nor do they retain any ties to professor Utonium, which brings me to my next point... The drastically different story.
The city of Townsville is a thing of the past. Our new setting? Tokyo City (Of course!). Professor Utonium creates the mythological "Chemical X". Somehow, a daifuku falls into the mixture, transforming it to the much more interesting "Chemical Z". His son Ken (a new addition to the franchise), blasts the Chemical Z into a mountain in order to set the weather back to normal (because I suppose shooting unstable chemicals at the problem would be the first course of action a scientist would take) and as expected in such a show, this in turn creates a side effect that gives birth to the new Powderpuffs and their villainous foes. (Hurray for cliche story lines!)
As the girls are now super heroines by accident (rather than the original 'borne with the powers' motif), they create alter egos for these new super forms. They then gain the ability to transform between these aliases through sparkling and colourful sequences. Which makes this series, the new Sailor Moon copy cat.
The girls are now known as "Momoko Akatsutsumi" (Blossom), "Miyako Goutokuji" (Bubbles) & "Kaoru Matsubara" (Buttercup). I'm unsure as to whether they will refer to themselves as the American names while in 'Super Form', but the terms do work their way into the transformation sequence.
Little else is solidified in the English speaking community as this project is only just taking shape in Japan, and the availability of FanSubbed variations of the currently released episodes are scarce if available at all.
Oh and for those of you who STILL think this is another prank... Feast your eyes upon the opening and ending sequences of the series. Oh ye of little faith...

Well it seems I've got me a new room mate (Technically my FIRST room mate...) and already things have gotten quite interesting. We had to move his stuff from his old place to the new one. And I do believe we broke several trespassing laws in doing so. Quite fun indeed.
Still waiting on an actual bed for him to use so it's a mattress on the floor for now. He's not complaining, but it does make getting ready for work in the mornings around his sleeping corpse an interesting trek.
Oh and did I mention my roomie is Yoshi? That's right sports fans. 2 of the comic's creators under the same roof. It's scary to think that there might actually be... Progress... *Shudders*
Suprisingly little else to say on the subject. Except...

That's right sports fans... Nintendo almost made one HELL of a fatal mistake. In an attempt to bring about a more mature gaming audience, they created this original Alpha version of Super Smash Brothers Brawl in which the characters became big time wrestler and battled it out in the WWF arena. Luckily for all of us though, they asked Masahiro Sakurai (The mastermind behind Kirby, the original 2 SSB games and the more recent DS game Meteos) to return to HAL in order to work on this new title, to which he was happy to return, if only to smack the HAL executives upside their heads for allowing this travesty to come to pass.
Thanks to him, we can now look forward to a Real Super Smash Brothers Brawl experience, rather than this pathetic excuse for a sequel. All hail Masahiro Sakurai!

But less fun... Allow me to explain...
Myself and my Co-Worker have officially run out of work to do for now. And so, my boss asked me to join her in filing documents in alphabetical order. This is kind of redundant in itself in that I am the last person to ask for such things as in order for me to do anything alphabetically, I have to actually go through the entire alphabet in my head to find where the letter I'm holding fits in the sequence. Just the way my mind works I guess.
So for the last 2 hours, I've been standing outside my office in front of the filing cabinets, going over the alphabet so many times that it almost sickness me to have to see so many letters here as I type this. My entire body aches as I'm definitely not built for standing bent over or crouching on one knee for prolonged periods... And I'm not even likely to be paid extra for any of this shit!
I never thought I'd say this but... I NEED MORE WORK!

A while ago I was contemplating quitting this job I'm in. Because aside from the obvious loss of monitaty gain (something I've become rather fond of...), I just couldn't justify it... But then I was struck with an old proverb... "Cheaters never prosper, and quitters never win". It was at that point I thought to myself... "What the HELL am I saying?" Quitters never win? Just what exactly do I 'win' by staying here? A job that is boring, repetitive, annoying and above all else, extremely irritating? Bah. But unfortunately, I've become somewhat addicted to this whole 'having money' deal. And so I guess I'm stuck here for the time being... I just wonder what I'll do when I lose this income in favor of going to TAFE... A scary thought indeed...
And who says cheaters never prosper... Really... The guy who made that quote needs to learn something about how the world works... Moron...

Are my skills in gaming truly as pitiful as they appear? My god I can't even get past world 1-2 of Super Mario now... I swear now an oath before the gods who created our world. Shigeru Miyamoto... Hideo Kojima... And John Romero (Hey... Doom WAS good). I shall regain my lost powers. I shall take back what is legitimately my birthright as a gamer.
I know the issue is something so simple, that I've overlooked it every step of the way... Something so obvious that no one has ever thought to point it out... But just recently, I think Yoshi inadvertently gave me exactly what I was missing. Strategy. I had never noticed it before... But I don't ever really think while I'm playing a game. I kind of just let it flow and play on reflex. It was not until Yoshi told me just how mentally exhausting his matches with Napz are in SSBM. How they both have to think so hard to get one up on each other. And that's when it hit me. I don't think while I play SSBM. My fingers and my eyes do all the leg work, and that's that. But it's time I fixed that... I need to lock myself in a room for a few weeks and just drill this concept into myself... Think every step of the way in every game... Hopefully we shall see results.
Oh and in case you were wondering... My inaptitude with Mario is simply a misconception. I guess I just forgot to take the game seriously and ran head on blindly into a steam train. These things happen I guess...

I apologize for my most recent post. It would seem that in my weakened state, I allowed a more metaphysical form of my mucus to be spewed forth upon that which I have held to be so sacred. It was a moment in which I felt the need to do something, nay, anything to keep myself from feeling the adverse effects of the viral disease that had staken it's claim upon my body.
In light of the wonderful world of self pity, I wish to now indulge you in a philosophy myself and Yoshi have created. As a way of apology for my recent misconduct. I'm sure you will all become more enlightened for this experience.
I have lovingly dubbed our philosophy 'The N.J Way' for reasons only those of you who know us will be able to decipher... And the basis of this, is that we will cruise through life, doing as little as physically possible. This can be distinguished from a bludger by the fact that rather than being totally lazy and refusing to learn to do anything, we are constantly learning and improving. We gain all the skills of a successful individual, and are quite capable of using them. We just chose not too.
This is all quite simply for the reason that we do not work at life to try and find those 'little nuggets' of happiness. We sit back, and let happiness flow to us. It is a simplistic philosophy, and yet one that has carried us successfully throughout highschool. It all falls around one statement... "The Good Lord Shall Provide". This can range from Buddha, to the Christian god. I like to believe in my personal goddess lady luck, as she has been good to me all these years.
So there you have it. A short concise explanation of the N.J way. May you all benefit from it's wisdom (Oh how very Zen of me...)

That was one hell of a weekend, let me tell you. Alcohol, Scrubs Season 2, Robin Williams, some 4 bottles of coke and sleep deprivation. Indeed it was an interesting sight to see...
Needless to say, I have become beyond tired because of it. Something of a Zombie who is sick of walking around moaning, but has forgotten how to sleep. Or as some may say "Death on Toast". This is not something I'm unaccustomed to mind you... But the perpetual taste of vomit that has been prominent in the back of my throat since Saturday is somewhat irritating...
Just a small update today. I'll have more for you when my head clears out a bit more...

Indeed a more blunt title I could not concoct. But what is this? Could it be true that for once in the pathetic existence of this blog, I, Maverik am staying true to my word? Audible gasp! Egads! And other such exclamations. I'll try to keep the spoilers to a minimum... But if you have yet to see the movie, I suggest you commit seppuku for good measure.
X-Men: The Movie. A boyhood dream of mine come true indeed. And not only has the rugged claw wielding bad ass and his troupe of talented pals come to a live action format. But it has done so 3 fold now! And as much as you will hear many a dedicated fan cry out in horror at some of the miscrepancy's of the new movie, I choose to take a more contemporary view of the whole affair.
You see, when X-Men 2 finished, they gave way to the character Pheonix. A gallant tale of death and rebirth would usually follow in the wake of this appearance if the cartoon was anything to go by. But such was not the case in this movie. Indeed, Jean Grey did not die at all. The whole 'encased in a physique barrier' thing was troubling to say the least. But to hear that Pheonix was NOT a reborn warrior of destiny, but rather the dark subconscious of an extremely powerful (and invariably bitchy) woman. This I have to say, was one of my few gripes with the movie.
What I will say, is that where there are differences, rather than hate them for not showing the story as it was originally meant to be... I commend them for successfully taking the franchise in a new and equally interesting direction. I also understand that a lot of the plot ideas from the comics and cartoon are just too complex to transfer into a movie format.
There is a rather heavy focus on Wolverine, and although I'll be the first to admit that I don't mind, as he IS pretty bad ass... But I must also acknowledge what they were trying to do. And that is center the story around him. Something that just isn't supposed to happen. I can be forgiving of them, but I do hope they don't end up botching their otherwise sweet deal with the what looks to be a quadrilogy.
Anyway. That's all I got for now.

So my trigger finger may have been itchy, and I may have jumped the gun so to speak with my previous assumptions of my new colleague Hannah. She's actually quite cool, all admiration for horses aside. I'm still deciding whether or not to regret giving her the link to this. As I seem to have lost the power to bitch if she rises my irk. But we'll cross that bridge if we come to it.
Meanwhile, I figure it's time to let a whole gush of geek just flood it's juices all over this thing, and start-a-pluggin. You all know I'm shameless like that.
Firstly, I'd like to speak about Gun. It's a free roaming western that tries its hand at the whole GTA style sandbox thing from Neversoft Entertainment. You may have heard of it a while back when it first came out. In all actuality, it's not a half bad game, giving the well received 'Red Dead Revolver' a run for it's money both story and gameplay wise. But unfortunately, that's where it ends. A fun cowboy game, that's missing the very sandbox ideals it was created to portray.
Allow me if you will, to explain. In GTA, you can follow the story at your whim, spending your time between missions exploring the vast city, and generally causing a whole mess of trouble for the local law enforcement. As you progressed through the series, this became more and more vast in span. A similar approach was taken in Spiderman 2, where you could explore at your whim. But it introduced the new idea of helping people in distress, allowing you to continue the never-ending fight against petty crimes. Once more, True Crime followed a healthy mix of the attributes of both Spiderman’s 'help society', and GTA's 'create a mass genocide'.
Gun on the other hand, does none of these things. Once you have completed the story side of things, you can then go on to complete whatever side quests may be left unfinished, and perhaps tackle a bandit or two. But that's where the fun ends. Once you've done everything there is to do. You've quite literally done everything there is to do.
Even going on a gun totting rampage in town feels tacked on and unrewarding, as the NPC's will simply flee in terror, while one or two may shoot back. And if you kill enough innocents, you will enter a 'showdown'. Now that sounds unbearably cool. But it's not what you might think. No pistols at dawn. No 10 paces then shoot. You quite simply take on a barrage of up to about 20 guys with guns. Guy's who are easily dispatched with a few shots from the contents of your Zelda like inventory. And for what? Nothing. There is no civil unrest. You do not become feared. There are literally NO consequences or rewards for doing this. Just a small pat on the back telling you that you finished the showdown by killing everyone or escaping.
Sadly unimpressive. Perhaps if they make a Gun 2, they will fix this fundamental flaw in their games design...
Stay tuned for my next blog, where I will talk about the much more pleasing topic of Xmen 3: The Last Stand.

Well it appears that I have a co-worker. Well... Not that I didn't always have co-workers at the office. But more in the sense that, there is now someone else who does the same job as me in the building.
It's not the first time that someone else has had this job. But it IS the first time anyone's actually been doing it, and I must say, I'm intimidated... I mean, I'm a laid back guy at heart. And I had found an interesting medium between getting work done, and having leisure time. But now that there is someone else there, I can't help but feel that she will not also find this leisure time. And it will no doubt start to look quite embarrassing if the work starts getting done, and all under her name, while I still mill along at a slow but bearable pace.
'Work' as I know it, it seems, will become more like work, and less like... Whatever it is I've been doing all this time, very fast, very soon. And it's a concept I'm not comfortable with. Not in the least.
On the upside, I DO finally have someone I can throw bills to, lessening my perpetually growing work pile. So maybe it's time I actually buckle down and earn my paycheck? It's a concept I've yet to truly explore. Something that both pique's my curiosity, and fills me with fear at the same time. Much like I assume the Pandora's box might if it were ever to fall into my possession.
You know what they say. Curiosity killed the entire human race. Or something like that...

I'll give them one thing... They are incredibly persistent... I had someone of Japanese decent add me to their MSN, and I attempted to engage in some form of dialogue with him. This unfortunately proved harder than first expected, as the extent of his knowledge of the English language seemed to end at these three words "Hello", "Camera" and "Yes". He seemed quite intent on conveying some form of invitation to share webcam feeds by mashing these 3 words together in every conceivable order possible.
Oh how I tried in vain to query him of where he obtained my email. I managed to dig up a dictionary, and attempted to ask him in Japanese if he was a friend of Napz. To which he replied "Hello. Yes. Camera" And offered a webcam feed again. I eventually gave up on this tangent, and tried to convey that the "Camera cannot function. Internet slow" all in Japanese. I'm assuming you've guessed his response. "Yes. Camera. Hello" And away he offered that damnable connection once more...
It has come to my attention that conversing with Japanese people may prove difficult. For you see. It appears they speak a different language. And if this kid was any thing to go by... It's not their language. That only seems to make them insist on babbling further.
I believe I shall need Napz for backup on this one. Maybe he will try and actually engage his brain when he see's someone he knows and will actually allow me to put my little dictionary to good use... But until that time...

Good gravy was that expo pointless. There were a total of 3 stalls actualy selling tangable merchandice, and one of those was selling pins... The anime theater was tiny, and I could barely read the subtitles... Talk about raising one's expectations... I did manage to pick up Chrono Crusade and DVD 6 of Gantz. That and a cool buildable moddle of a Gundam.
There were other reasons that made the day a WHOLE lot better... But I beleive those are still of a personal nature, and not for the prying eyes of the general public. Yes. That's right. I just broke Blogging rule no. 1, and refused to log something by aknowleging that this is public access. Fight the power people!
Significantly shorter than I expected... But that's what SHE said!
Yeah... Those jokes are lame. But I couldn't resist. In any case, that's really all I have to say here. I'll see what I can't do about having some crasy hyjinx during the week to write about. But untill then... As I always say.

So I see that my pal Yoshi has learned how to harness the strength of HTML within his blog posts. Let us hope this power does not go to his head shall we?
In more relevant news, I am headed out to another Anime convention on Saturday. This time my accomplice shall be the ever lovely Rhiannon, a girl I have recently come to befriend (Trust me. This story goes FAR deeper than I'm letting on. But such is a tale for later days). But you know the funny thing? It was this very fact that made me turn to myself and say "What the fuck? You haven't even posted your Supanova exploits yet!" (Indeed. I DO talk to myself) And so, I decided to give a brief overview of my experience that was...

I know I promised photos... And I may even post them someday. But not now... Such things will be seen too at a later date. For now, I feel the very simple need to shamelessly plug another blog... Indeed it is a bizarre thing for someone to direct attention to a blog other than his own. But I feel that Yoshi's unstoppable vortex of text requires the attention it deserves. And so, I do tell you all to go forth and gaze thin eyes upon the "Super Happy Yoshi Blog of Shameful Dishonour"!
It is indeed a strange and disturbing world we live in... And as I am at work, I shall cut this short right here.

It's that time of year folks. The ONE convention I'm able to attend. Yoshi shall be joining me for at least Saturday and Sunday, but I can't guarantee tonight. Yes, you read right, I'm going to be going into the special preview night, and I'm quite excited to see what's going to be on offer.
For the first time, I'll be returning home during the event, rather than staying somewhere else. So I shall be typing up daily reports on the goings on for you readers. Indeed, it shall be an interesting weekend to say the least...
In any case, I've little else to say at the current time, other than perhaps subtly plugging my new copy of God Of War.

Greetings one and all. I bring you both grave and fantastic news! First the bad news. Napz will be going over to Japan for 2 weeks come Friday. So we shan't have alota contact with him for the duration... But on the plus side, we can milk him for shit when he gets back.
The GOOD news, is that he left us a gift of sorts... And now, without further adieu, I give you, the first official glimpse of our yet to be named comic!
Now don't fret. We don't intend to make this some kind of Furry loving sexual adventure. This is just some bizarre holiday thing Napz cooked up. But that aside, it's a great chance to see how the art development is traveling. If you'll just guide your attention to Napz's arm, you will notice that there is indeed recognizable shading! And thus the heavens cracked open, and a chorus of 12 angels sang out in praise.
Needless to say, other than my insatiable urge to plug a game or two, I've got little else that can be mentioned at the current time. So I'll just leave you in the knowledge that the ancient sleeping Cthulhu will one day reawaken the elder gods and crush all humanity... But until then...

I've about 10 minutes to just pop in and say 'Hi' from work (Yes work!). Situation hasn't really improved a whole lot unfortunately, and I'm currently staying with my dad who on top of not having an internet connection (Or any form of land line for that matter), has decided to enjoy having his personal live in house keeper while I'm there... Yeah, I'll bet HE sweeps the floor and shakes out the rugs every second day...
On a lighter note, I've been training on this job here, where I analyze phone bills and see if our database can't find the clients a better deal (with one of our affiliates of course). It's no where near as easy as it seems at first glance, but hey, money's money right?
Anywho, I'll probably have to get back to it soon, so I'll finish off here before I have the Don breathing down my neck for neglecting work on the first day (Well... He has 'The Don' on his door so I assume he's the bosses boss round here. Though I think Sharon might be my actual boss... I really should check up on that...)

"Kids can't chose the adults in there life". I've only recently come to grasp the full meaning and context of this... It was probably the inexplicable vomiting of bile that gave me the reality check I've been needing. The term "Sick and tired" takes on a new meaning, and it's far too literal for my liking.
I'm getting really sick of moving about, and having my life uprooted constantly. I've dealt with it so long that even the palm reader guy told me the reason my hands have a billion lines instead of like 12, is cus I'm constantly stressing. And now outa the blue, I'm hit with this? Lemmi tell ya, it's not a fun time I'm having at the home end of the spectrum.
As much as I can't really whine about my life, it could stand to be a lot better. I just wanna live in the same house for a few years. Not move, live in the same area, have the same conveniences and nearby friends... Is that asking all that much?
I dunno... I've gotta get out of this destructive vortex while I still can... It's like being swept over a waterfall with a rope to safety only JUST out of reach.

Next time you decide to insult someone for living in a trailer... Take a step back and consider something... It's freaking hard to hook one of those things up! Considering I'm about to be living in one in Waynes back yard, for the sake of having enough room to move, I was given a lecture on what was needed to be done to the houses fuse box in order to allow for it to run without blowing the same fuse over and over.
In other news, there's another disco thing tonight. I don't think I mentioned the previous one, so I'll explain. It's a disco that's held twice a month at the PCYC. Eccencialy a bad night club for kids (Complete with jumping castle). There's an older kids one and a younger kids one. I was dragged to the older one by Joshua (Not Yoshi), and found it to be irrefutable dull.
So this other disco is for the kids, and apparently Zac will be attending. Along with Joshua and his friends. I on the other hand, can't stand another one, so I'll be avoiding it like the plague. I just felt this was something that maybe I should convey (and lengthen this post).
Later tonight I'll throw up a review of the new movie Aeon Flux. But until then, I would like to point out that in Russia, blog writes you!

I guess today's post was a little preemptive... But I was more getting it out in the open than anything else. As you can probably tell as I'm posting twice in 24 hours, which is something I just don't do, as I've been better known to not blog at all really. Well I know I've said it a million times before, but I'm GOING to stick with it this time. I'm no longer living in the middle of nowhere, and so I'm actually having interesting encounters again. A clear bonus as any true blogger would know.
First focus I'd like to make is on the phenomenon that is eBay. Most of you may know it as that online auction house full of useless junk... Some of you may also be aware that I am now living with one of the top sellers in Australia. Now, where you might sell a thing or two for a quick buck or two... He sells his wears for a living. I always knew he sold a lot... But I never truly grasped just how much of an understatement that is...
He has a van with which to transport his many packages to the post office once the sale is finalized and everything is approved. This Van was PACKED with boxes. And this wasn't even a holiday rush! The postal officer complained that due to Wayne (being that top seller obviously) alone, he is often full before he reaches the final postal office for the route.
It's a truly terrifying thing indeed... What's even more frightening, is that I may follow this trend and open my own eBay store. How I'm going to keep up with this is beyond me, but I haven't strived for a decent challenge for a while now. I feel obligated somehow to also shamelessly plug his store.
So with that all out of the way, I was given what could only be described as a crash course in car model's and makes. I suppose it had to be coming sooner or later with me constantly referring to Wayne's 4WD as a 'Jeep' (Such things frustrate the living daylights outa him, as apparently it is not even CLOSE to a jeep).
Of course I failed miserably at the task of recognizing any such vehicle, and resorted to squinting in an attempt to read the logo's. Some might say that my crash course was more of a crash and burn...
So fast forward to dinner tonight. We go out to a burger joint favored by Wayne, and for good reason. The food was some of the best I've eaten in quite a while. But as it turns out, Wayne is a good friend of the owners husband. We bought a late meal, and so he came out and sat with us as we ate (He came bearing the whisky drink called bullets. So I was more than willing to overlook the intrusion) and chatted it up with Wayne and Mother dearest.
So as time goes on, they finish discussing a trip to India, and it is revealed that he is the palm reader who predicted that Mother dearest would come to be with him in the near future. So of course, out come the palms...
Wayne refused to allow him a second look at his hand, and so he moved straight to Mother dearest. Her hand was apparently 'very interesting' and he proceeded to speak of her personality, subsequently getting most right. He mentioned that her fist said 2 male children, but that wasn't the most impressive thing ever as both myself and my 7 year old brother were seated at the same table.
So he finished with Mother dearest, and at the constant begging of a 7 year old, he did Zac's hand next. All he could really deduce from the 5 lines on his hand was that he seems to be headed for becoming a doctor. His fist said he'd have 1 boy so far.
Finally, he turned his strangely accurate perception powers on me, and out came my hand... This is where things got interesting... He didn't say it was an interesting palm... But rather, it was a palm like nothing he had seen before. He deduced that I was a passionate speaker. That I was a lover. That I was a sick young boy, but have reached a far more healthy stage in my life. He held bad news on this however. Apparently, I'm destined for some illness when I reach my 40's or 50's. Diabetes came as an example, and I can see that as I have a family history.
He turned to my love life, a topic all seemed a little too eager to hear about for my liking... He claimed that I have recently had trouble where I have met someone whom I believe is too beautiful for me. And in a sense, this it true. When applied to my recent downfall, I can draw lines to the fact that I feel she is far too beautiful a person emotionally and spiritually for me, being such a kind soul, I indeed feel that I do not deserve her, which I suppose added to my expectations of rejection.
After that was done, he moved onto the bit that he claimed was unprecedented... The line that supposedly shows what kind of job I will attain, or move towards. This line did not move in any kind of way it should. All he could say for sure, was that it would be an unusual job that perhaps does not exist yet, and that it would not exactly be embraced by society. This apparently did not mean that it would be something vulgar... But that it would be seen as very unusual, and people would most likely approach it with caution.
As a final note, I'm apparently destined to have one female child. And so all in all, it was an interesting experience. Something I'm interested in looking further into. For example, having him examine my other palm...
So that's all from me for now, and until next time, allow me to impart some wisdom upon you all. "A wood chuck could chuck approximately 40 pounds of wood if a wood chuck could chuck wood".

It's amazing what a few days can bring about... The last time I posted, I mentioned a certain someone that I liked, whom I was hiding my true intentions from. Well... This is no longer the case. She worked out just what my thoughts were, and in essence, turned me back. While this is not exactly unexpected, that didn't exactly make things feel any better.
So now, things are slowly getting back to normal between us, and that can only be a good thing. The other party and I however, seem to have hit a snag. He has become somewhat... Uncomfortable with me, which isn't what I want at all.
On a lighter note, I keep promising I'll review things, so here I go with a review of the newish movie "Lord Of War".

Well, I'm finaly back in a sence. I was out for quite a while because my stepfather had failed to pay the phone bill, crutial to my dial-up connection at the time. It's been unpaied since 3 or 4 weeks ago now... So you can imagine my irritation...
But that's all behind me now. In more ways than one. The saga of Reg is over, and a new tale beguins. I unfortunately can't elaborate on any details... But let's just say that situations are improving, and my dizmal life is starting to take a turn for the better.
On a completely unrelated note, I'm at a quandry, and have been for a while now... The usual story of "I like girl, she likes someone else". And usualy I'll just tell her, gague the reaction and be on my merry way. But this time I can't do that... Doing so would cause her a great deal more anguish than I wish to inflict, and so I must remain silent on the matter... Never knowing her thoughts :
Alot of anomnimity in this post, which is probably the reason it's so short... I'd talk about the movie "Lord Of War", but it wouldn't be in the same tone as the rest of this post, and so I'll leave it for another time.
So here's me saying "Stay in school". Or don't... Whatever.

Well, after such a long break over the holidays, I figured another update was in order.
Had a great new years! Yeah... I don't believe me either. It was very average to tell the truth. Went into the city, saw Narnia (Actually was surprisingly good), and went off to watch the fireworks at southbank. It was at about this point where I realised that I was TOTALY failing to get anywhere with the girl I had been trying to start conversations with all night, as she was opting to disappear with Lee, who ironically had a girl with him (I think their engaged or something).
Christmas was half interesting. Got my hands on a Nintendo DS, and finally got me a copy of Ace Combat 5. Something I've been hunting for quite some time for. Or rather... Hunting for the money for. I also got a Sonic game for the DS which was a bit of a highlight for the console in my opinion.
Just last week was my almighty 18th birthday. Huzzah. The day itself was full of the dull drudgery of cloths shopping. Which I'll admit was necessary, as I needed some nice threads to go out into the new culture that had opened up to me that night. But even the night was dull. We went to 2 bars in total, had one drink at each, and called it a night. *Sigh*
So onto the comic sector of my life. The guy's are claiming my last post was unfair, and that I'm only seeming to get pushed away because I live so far off. And as much as I think that's a dumb reason, I do see how it may affect them. But in any case, we have written up a pilot, and Napz is underway trying to bring it to life. As long as Yoshi doesn't read it too many more times and decide that because it's seeming worse every time, it must be bad. Of course, it could always be because it's not funny the 500th time...
I'm still searching for work... But I'm hoping that my application to be a Loss Prevention Officer comes through. I'm pretty sure that would be fun, and more importantly, profitable. Hey, a guy's gotta eat right? Speaking of... I may just have to go and get on the Doll or something if this doesn't come through.
Well, in any case, that's about the extent of semi interesting things I have to say. If you're all good, I'll consider reviewing Path Of Neo and Devil May Cry 3 for the PS2.
So this is me signing off and leaving a small piece of advice. "Don't lick a mafia boss's face. They are not made of candy as some may have you believe."
